The Pendleton FFA Chapter was well represented at the Oregon FFA State Convention in Redmond on March 17-20.

Congratulations to Curt Thompson, who was selected as the Oregon Agriculture Teacher’s Association Administrator of the Year during the Oregon FFA State Convention over Spring Vacation.
Curt truly gets behind all CTE programs at the high school, and he is much appreciated.

Two years ago, during the 2019-20 school year, the Pendleton School District’s School to Careers program was right where it wanted to be.
The ASTRA Club of Pendleton at Pendleton High School is finding a new way to help families in the Pendleton community in 2022.
After compiling the results of the recent Superintendent Survey and holding focus group sessions in January, the Pendleton School Board and the superintendent search company are moving on to next steps in the process.
January is a month on which we recognize the valuable role and work that our school board plays in the lives of our students and families. Please join us in giving thanks to each board member who leads and supports our school district on behalf of our community.

Julie Muller (3rd year on Board) said she likes learning about PSD schools and the students who attend, as well as getting to know the staff and the important work they do.
“What I hope to contribute to the school district is a voice for parents. I have two school-aged children, and I see the importance of parent input and involvement.”

Preston Eagleheart (1st year on Board) enjoys collaborating with the board, faculty, and community on hot topics and issues concerning district students, parents, and staff.
“I bring local knowledge of the community; growing up in Pendleton most of my lifetime has given me roots to the community, and I wish to continue to build upon those relationships.”
