Superintendent Message – August 17, 2021
The first day of school is just two weeks away. Opening information can be found on each school’s website. If you have questions, administrators and secretaries are on site to answer questions.
Parents, please remember our schools will have staggered start and end times this year.
Elementary Schools 8:00 – 2:30
Sunridge Middle School 8:45 – 3:15
Pendleton High School 8:40 – 3:35
If you haven’t already done so, it’s not too late to have your children begin establishing their school routines. Like adults, a regular restful night’s sleep contributes to overall health as well as school success. Most experts recommend 8-10 hours of sleep nightly for school-age children depending on their age.
Our Kindergarten and 1st grade students will be doing a “soft start” the first week of school. If you haven’t received information yet, please contact your child’s school. You can also get valuable information from the school website and Facebook pages.
If you have not had the opportunity to do so yet, and you plan on having your child ride the bus to and/or from school, please complete the transportation registration form found here (https://forms.gle/BMJKDnYu2DQL4ZVp8).
We are excited to have our students returning to school full-time this year. Here’s to a great 2021-22 school year.
Respectfully,
Chris Fritsch
